Makita 18V XT260 Drill and Impact Driver with Free Battery Bundle

Over at Amazon and independent Makita dealers, there’s a new special 18V drill and impact driver combo bundle that includes a free bonus 3.0Ah battery pack.

The new Makita XT260 combo comes with a 1/2″ drill/driver that can deliver up to 480 in-lbs of torque, and an impact driver that delivers up to 1420 in-lbs. The drill is similarly spec’ed to the hammer drill in the kit that sold for $99 during the holiday season.

Neither the drill nor the impact driver are premium tools with latest-and-greatest tech, but they seem to look reasonably good at least on paper.

The kit comes with (2) 3.0Ah battery packs, a rapid charger, and a kit bag. Add in the free bonus battery and that’s (3) battery packs that you get with this kit.

Price: $229

Makita’s 18V X2 circular saw and free 3.0Ah battery promo is also still ongoing. There’s no word as to when these free battery promos will end.

The XT 252M and the XT 257 also come with a free 4.0 amp hr battery. I believe the deal is good until the end of april and is part of their 100 year anniversary “celebration”.

Makita Power Tools are made in Japan but they have factories in the US. One of the best supplier I know was in Australia. I love Makita 18v Cordless Drills from United Tools.
