Deal ends 3am ET 11/27/16, unless supplies sell out sooner.

I find Milwaukee’s similar deal to be more appealing, but this deal gets you a capable hammer drill, a capable impact driver, and Makita’s higher capacity compact battery packs.

If you just want one of the 2 tools, both are available as $99 kits, bundled with a charger and single 3.0Ah battery pack.

“I find Milwaukee’s similar deal to be more appealing…”

But the Makita deal offers a hammer drill. I think I would use the hammer function more often than I would need the smaller size of the Milwaukee.

Agreed, this seems to be the best deal currently available. Hammer function, 2ah batteries, on paper power and almost equally impressive stable of tools to expand on.
