Milwaukee’s 26″ tool box seems to be a big hit, and we’re liking it as well. It’s uniquely featured and well built. But not everyone needs a full-size box like that. That’s why Milwaukee has come out with a new 13″ tool box, model 48-22-8010.
My first thought was that this looks great for bucket users, and it seems that’s exactly what Milwaukee was going for when designing the new work box.
The new Milwaukee 13″ tool box features a removable lid with integrated drip ledge, which helps to protect tools and contents from water, debris, and other contamination. Inside is a pull-out vertical tool organizer and an inner tray.
The tool box has reinforced corners for greater impact resistance. According to Milwaukee, the new tool box can survive over 1,000 drops, even when loaded with 25 pounds of stuff.
A V-groove in the lid is convenient for cutting small diameter materials. You can also clean off the top and use the tool box as a seat. With a 16″ height, the tool box is high enough for comfort, yet close enough to the ground to allow you to work on lower fixtures and devices that you would probably have to kneel down to reach otherwise.

As with the 26″ hand box, the new 13″ bucket-shaped tool box is also made in the USA.
