The new Milwaukee MX Fuel 27lb SDS Max demolition hammer is said to deliver the power to remove concrete, block, and tile on both walls and floors.

It delivers 26.1 joules of impact energy and can chip 1.5 tons per charge with a FORGE XC 8Ah battery. That is about 33 minutes of continuous trigger on-time, or a 63ft x 4″ deep trench.

The demo hammer features an anti-vibration system to help reduce fatigue over extended periods of use, and is compatible with Milwaukee’s VacLink-equipped dust collectors for wireless activation and more efficient dust control.

One-Key compatibility allows for tracking and inventory management.

These are long overdue. Hopefully this generation fixes both the battery and the tool overheating.

I do find it interesting that they have stuck with 1 3/4” as a maximum bit size.. The higher voltage brands rate their flagship rotary hammers at 2”.

Just looking at these and heavy metal music starts playing in my head. I want to just grab one and break something with it.

Long overdue, but bravo for their arrival.

On a more serious note, this kind of equipment can make a lot of dust. Never forget respiratory protection when working with masonry.
