Milwaukee 2695-29 M18 9-Tool Cordless Combo Kit

Today only, Home Depot has a number of Milwaukee tool deals of the day.

Some of these deals are of the “recurring” type that we tend to see around holiday times, some of them are completely new, meaning I don’t recall ever seeing them before.

  • Milwaukee M18 6-tool cordless combo kit: $399
  • Milwaukee M18 9-tool cordless combo kit: $599
  • M18 Hackzall Kit: $129
  • M12 LED flashlight kit: $100
  • Torpedo level: $25
  • Hardline 3″ knife: $30
  • Hardline 3.5″ knife: $35
  • Hardline 3″ serrated knife: $30
  • Hardline 2.5″ knife: $25
  • M18 SDS rotary hammer kit: $149
  • M18 Sawzall kit: $149
  • M18 Fuel SDS Max bare tool: $299
  • 12pc metric 1/4″ impact socket set: $30
  • Workskin performance shirt: $21
  • Workskin performance  shirt long sleeve: $28

The Hardline knives are all on sale. The 3″ knife was on sale a few months ago, but only the smooth blade variety. Today, all of the styles are on sale.

After the last Hardline sale, I heard a comment or two about flipping quality. At the NPS18 show shortly after, I spoke with one of the product managers, and he was surprised. From our informal discussion, and looking at each of my own test samples, I concluded that there could be some variation in the production process. If you receive a Hardline knife (a good value on sale for half off!), and you’re not happy with its performance in any way, return it for an exchange or refund.

Some of the deals surprised me, since I hadn’t seen them before. The impact socket set, for instance – I don’t recall ever seeing that in a Home Depot deal of the day. I am a little disappointed, though, as I can definitely use a 3/8″ or 1/2″ set, and would buy them without hesitation. A 1/4″ metric set? Not so much. It’s still worth noting; maybe it’s just the thing that was on your wishlist?

Deals end at 3am 9/5/2018, unless supplies sell out sooner.

FYI. A little before 10am EST, I couldn’t get to the site for a while, but had no problems elsewhere. Right at 10, it came up.

      Thanks!

I had some issues myself in the early morning, and I can’t seem to find a cause. I thought it was just me, will investigate further. My issues seemed to stem from Google Chrome, though.

With things like this, I can only investigate if I know what’s going on, and so I greatly appreciate the heads-up!

The SDS is a good price, and I don’t recall seeing it on sale like this before

Just back from a quick look at my local HD. Other Milwaukee deals include:
    — M18 Fuel combo kit (5 or 6 pieces? ) with large Packout box for $499. If anyone is interested, I can go back and find out more details. BTW, that’s the only Packout box I saw in the store!
    — Free battery and charger with select Milwaukee lights (like the Rocket lights; IIRC, choices were $149 or $199)
    — Closeout special: tool-only 2130-20 Rocket light for $100 (impressive, especially since this HD almost NEVER has good closeout deals)

I can pick up 12pc 3/8”- 1/2” impact sets for $30-40, why would I pay so much for a 1/4” set?

I ordered the 3.5″ Hardline and the level today.

I purchased the 3″ (2.75″ by my measurement) straight Hardline when it was a daily deal a few months ago. They are all likely steals at the sale price, but for my “around the property” knives I want the big ones. I wish the fixed balde would go on a daily deal. I sharpened my current one aiming for microserrations and it is perfect. Big thick grind in a tough steel for little money.

Picked up the 3″ Hardline from the sale. Really nice knife. Cant think of one I’d want to EDC more, especially at that price
