I found a new Milwaukee M12 cordless screwdriver deal at Home Depot for Black Friday 2025. My closest Home Depot store only had one in stock, and I found more at another location.
This is the Milwaukee 2401-21P, a special 1-battery kit for the M12 brushed motor cordless screwdriver.
The kit includes the tool, a single 1.5Ah battery, and a charger.

Both of my stores had a $59 sticker price for the kit, which might be its holiday season price. However, since the same kit doesn’t appear to exist in Home Depot’s online catalog yet, or at any online retailer, I’m thinking maybe this could be a doorbuster deal.
I’ll keep an eye out for this one. I’m betting we’ll see it as a limited time in-store-only doorbuster deal at $49, after which it might be available online if any inventory remains. What’s your prediction?

The screwdriver and ratchet combo kit tends to be a Black Friday special buy for $99. At this time it’s $199, and with plenty of inventory, and so I’m near-certain it’s going to be a $99 Black Friday deal or doorbuster again. The 45pc bit set is priced at $30 right now.

I think that the 2-tool combo kit is going to be $99 again in just over 2 weeks. You can wait for that deal, or get the same combo kit plus a $30 bit set for $119 right now.

I don’t know if I’m remembering correctly, but think I paid $79 for this screwdriver and a radio. Haven’t used it in awhile, mostly using an impact driver or drill, but really enjoyed how it feels and works.

That must have been over 11 years ago. It was a different iteration of the tool, and a similar bundle hasn’t been repeated since.
It started off at $99 for Father’s Day 2014, and then dropped to $79 that July.

I had no idea that Milwaukee sold such a thing, and I see that several other case sizes are also available. The larger one for $11.99 (SKU 48-32-9921) looks good for me, though I’ll wait for Black Friday just in case it goes on sale somewhere.

That little screwdriver is amazing. Seriously, it is one of the best power tools I have ever bought. It’s worth every bit of $80 so if you can get it for less it’s a hell of a deal.

Does anyone know what’s going on with the usual $99 M18 compact brushless drill kit and $99 M18 compact brushless impact driver kit at Home Depot this year?
These are always some of the most popular holiday deals with plenty of inventory, but all the stores around me are out and there’s hardly any available to order online.

The M12 Fuel deals look to be online-only, and the M18 are available but lowish supplies from what I’m seeing.
There are far more of the M18 2-tool compact brushless drill and impact driver combo kit for $179.
I’m guessing this could be due to the tariffs. Dewalt raised prices on their $99 kits, to $119. Maybe Milwaukee chose to limit inventory – the $99 deals are still available – and focus more on the 2-tool combo kit.

I bought that exact set 2 years ago except it had (1) a bag, and (2) 2 x 1.5Ah batteries for a total of $59.99 (take out 10% Vet discount and you get the final tally).
I call that screwdriver my “Honey” and it is always in the Tote Bag. My “go-to” power tool.
So this is NOT a good deal.

I use this screwdriver all the time. With the torque set low it makes quick work of flatpack and other jobs that are tedious with a regular screwdriver but also too fragile for an impact.

Anyone have insight or links to reviews, comparing this to the fuel to the installation driver?
There are so many options for electronically turning a screw it seems hard to sort out the options unless one can get hands on with all bunch of them and thst seems hard to accomplish.
I get impacts can be too much power for assembling, even in their lowest setting.
Why would someone choose one of these M12 screwdrivers over an M12 drill or the installation driver? Is it just screw chuck vs 1/4” collet? If so – what are the decision points between the M12 screwdrivers and the installation driver? Is that just cost and attachments? Form factor? Power?
