Milwaukee M12 Cordless Power Tool Combo Kit with SubCompact Brushless and More 3494-24

Milwaukee has a new M12 4pc cordless power tool combo kit that just launched as a 2025 holiday season special buy.

The new Milwaukee M12 combo kit, 3494-24, features their recent subcompact brushless drill and impact driver, plus a compact reciprocating saw and oscillating multi-tool. You also get 2 batteries, a charger, and tool bag.

It looks like they took the regular M12 subcompact brushless drill and impact driver combo kit, left everything alone including the 2Ah batteries, and added in the reciprocating saw and OMT.

The “special buy” price is $199.

I’d say this is a fantastic deal for what you get and the price for everything.

For context, the regular price for just the drill and impact combo kit is $199. For holiday season promos, it has dropped to $149, or $159 with a drill bit set. $199 for the same tools plus two others? Seems like a great value.

No, these aren’t Milwaukee’s best M12-class tools. But for the price, they’re good inclusions and might handle everything you throw at them. If you need more, jump up to more premium Milwaukee M12 FUEL tools.

Milwaukee M18 Compact Brushless Drill and Impact Driver Kit 3692-22CT

If you only need a brushless drill and impact driver, this Milwaukee M18 compact brushless combo kit is also on sale for the holidays, at $179, which I feel is an excellent price.

Or you can opt for the M12 Fuel hammer drill and impact driver combo kit for $199, although I’d wait for a free battery or other item to be thrown in at that price.

Almost left a comment about this yesterday! Too bad it’s a 3/8 drill, but maybe that’s a good thing for my wallet.

If they do a fuel kit with the free hackzall I’m going to get one. I have a very old m12 kit a d like the form factor. The drill with a square battery and a 1/4″ drive is perfect for installing bolts on motorcycle engines. Set the clutch all the way soft and getter done.

I picked up the 2 tool subcompact kit and couple months ago. I do light commercial HVAC and am really happy with the impact. I was using an M18 Surge and Veto tool backpack but needed to lighten my regular carry.

I’ve heard that MT (not the Fuel) is one of the few dogs in the M12 lineup. Anybody have any experience with it?

A guy I sometimes work with has one I’ve used a few times. Works fine but isn’t very powerful. OK for sheetrock and trimming wood. Between the lack of power and hassle of another battery platform he should’ve paid the extra for 18v.

If you keep the blade real new and sharp it’s fine; but if you like to run the blades until they’re just metal with no teeth the Fuel or M18 is the way to go.

It works. Very buzzy noise and vibration. The lack of a quick release was the main reason I got the fuel version. I don’t usually replace a tool that continues to work, but I’m glad I replaced this. Love the fuel version.

Love my subcompact m12 drill. Agree this is a solid value.
