    Milwaukee 2207-20 fork meter:

This is a good tool. Measures ac/dc voltage and ac amps (NO DC AMPS FUNCTION). Highly accurate non contact voltage detection (I wish it also beeped audibly instead of being only visual indication). Hold function. Low battery level indication. Quality test leads with onboard storage slots. A bright 3 led work light which casts a good 8 foot beam. The display is very easy to read, and it also has a latch to lock in the battery.

The cons of this tool are: #1) the magnetic meter holder that is included is attrocious. It will not even attach itself to a ferrous surface, let alone with the meter attached. I was let down by this aspect. #2) The case that is included is not big enough to fit the meter. Who put these gimmicks in the box with this tool?!? How did they get past testing and quality control? Milwaukee makes a soft zippered case that does fit this tool, however why they didn’t include that particular case in the package is beyond me.

I would personaly be hesitant to pay any more than $60.00 (including shipping) for this meter, which was what I gave for mine brand new.

I conclude: This is a good meter, however if you are considering purchasing a Milwaukee meter (which all are top notch), I would reccomend models 2217-20 or 2238/9-20. (Especially model 2239-20. That thing is the champ.)

The drill in this kit is worth way more than $100. Plus, you get a sweet meter.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks Bob for your comment. I wish i would’ve seen your comment sooner, I just paid $105 for this meter. Because it’s rare, I hope I don’t regret it. 🤞🤞
