Milwaukee M18 Cordless Caulk and Adhesive Gun 2641-21CT_1

Milwaukee introduced their new M18 cordless caulk and adhesive gun (which I’ll refer to as CAG) yesterday, describing it as the most powerful tool of its type on the market. The CAG can deliver up to 950 lbs of force, which will come in handy when dealing with viscous or difficult materials.

A variable-speed trigger and 6-setting speed dial is used to set the CAG’s 0-21 inch per meter flow rate. An anti-drip mechanism reduces waste and mess by stopping material from oozing out when the trigger is released. All metal gearing and “Constant Flow Technology” ensure durable power and even beading. One M18 RedLithium battery charge can dispense up to 200 10-ounce tubes of material.

We have used the Milwaukee and Albion 14.4 Volt cordless tools in both 10 oz and 20 oz configuartions. These have come in handy – and the upgrade to to the newer 18V platform may be in th cards for us – as we’ve phased out almost all of the 14.4V tools. Now for pure power – you need to do pneumatic – and try out a Newborn Brothers gun.

Not too familiar with these tools, I wonder, are there any applications where the additional pneumatic power is necessary?
