Milwaukee M12 Thermal Imager Kit

Milwaukee’s M12 thermal imaging camera is a decent piece of test equipment that goes beyond what you can do with a simple IR thermometer. Just to name some of its strong points, it can sniff out overloaded components, insulation leaks, and hidden radiant heating wires or pipes.

But at $2500 it’s a pretty big investment for first-time thermal camera users.

We have been testing a loaner unit and have been mostly impressed with its capabilities. We put the sample in the hands in tradesmen, and while they have good things to say about the thermal imager, the price seems to be a common dislike.

A new combo kit indicates that Milwaukee seems to be aware of this. If you were on the fence about buying the M12 thermal imaging camera for you or your team, maybe a free 4-tool M18 cordless combo kit (model 2693-24CT) will change your mind.

Milwaukee M18 4-Tool Bonus Combo Kit

The new M12 imager + M18 promo combo kit includes the imager kit, an M18 drill/driver, M18 impact driver, M18 Hackzall, M18 work light, 2x M18 li-ion batteries, and a M18/M12 charger.

The price of the promo combo kit is $2500, with the retail value of the free M18 promo kit estimated to be $299.

Update: The promo package is no longer available, but might return some time in the future.
