These Milwaukee Wrench Sets are Discounted for Black Friday for the First Time

Milwaukee Combination Wrench Set Deals at Home Depot for Black Friday 2025

As the title says, these Milwaukee Tool wrench sets are on sale for Black Friday for the first time ever.

These are Milwaukee’s 11pc wrench sets, which launched a few years ago $119 each.

With Home Depot’s Black Friday deal, you can buy the 11pc metric or 11pc SAE combination wrench sets for $50 each.

11pc metric set (48-22-9511) sizes: 8mm, 10mm, 11mm, 12mm, 13mm, 14mm, 15mm, 16mm, 17mm, 18mm, 19mm
11pc SAE set (48-22-9411) sizes: 1/4”, 5/16”, 11/32”, 3/8”, 7/16”, 1/2”, 9/16”, 5/8”, 11/16”, 3/4”, 7/8”

Not only have I not seen these Milwaukee wrench sets discounted for Black Friday before, I don’t think I’ve seen then in any sale or promo.

Both sets come with complementary trays that nest together for compact storage in your tool chest or cart drawers.

Features include a comfortable I-beam design, ink-filled size markings, anti-slip open head for reduced stripping of nuts and bolt heads, and 12pt box end.

Milwaukee’s have become my most-used wrenches, and I’m highly considering picking up a set at these Black Friday prices. I love the 15pc sets that Milwaukee sent me for testing and review consideration, and refuse to give them up or away. Maybe those can go into my main tool box and these can replace them in my garage workspace.

I consider this to be an excellent bargain – great tools at a fantastic price. For context, last year’s deal featured Milwaukee’s 7pc portable wrench sets at $50 each. I’m really liking that they went with the tool box wrench tray sets this year, and especially that they’ve giving you more wrenches at the same price.

Looking at the inventory counts, I wouldn’t sleep on this deal.

Price: $50 (each set)

Home Depot has a 22pc set bundle, but it doesn’t look to offer any additional savings.

It looks like Acme Tools is offering the same deals right now, although it looks like they already sold out of the SAE set.

What would I buy instead of this deal? Nothing. I looked around a bit and couldn’t find any Black Friday deals of comparable quality for anywhere close to the same price.

I hate the teeth in the open end. They’re too aggressive and shred the fasteners. Otherwise I really like the I beam design of them. The inked markings are great and the storage trays are really nice. I love how they fit together to save space. I haven’t touched my set since about 2019.

The teeth were literally pulling metal slivers off the bolt head. Figured it was just an old and corroded fastener. So I replaced it. Went to tighten it down and it shredded it too.

I can’t say I’ve seen or heard of that yet. Was it a particular size?

I think it was 1/2”. It was on the compound slide of a metal lathe. Didn’t have clearance to get the box end around the nut or bolt. Was able to use the open end without interference but tightening it down shredded the metal.

I have plenty of wrenches at work already, don’t have space to bring another set in for more testing. Not that I want to risk ruining fasteners on our equipment at work.

I’m just not a huge fan of anti-slip teeth. Some designs are better than others, but the Milwaukee style, also shared with Icon, Carlyle, and I’m sure many others, are just super aggressive. If I get around to doing testing, I’ll send you my results with photos through Instagram.

Proto ASD are really nice, just my two cents. They don’t use “teeth” for the effect, so it might be a touch gentler yet they perform well in maximum torque tests.

I’ve been using these almost 2 years, I’ve never shredded a nut/bolt with the open end.

These were on sale at this price just before Halloween, I picked up a set.

And I agree with other poster, the jaws are unnecessarily aggressive. I prefer my Facom I-beams, at least on healthy hardware.

I love my Facom wrenches too. I use the Milwaukee more because of the convenience. I have Facom sets in blow molded plastic and foam, but only SAE, and metric in a portable caddy.

Maybe I’ve gotten lucky, or use the wrenches in a different way. I usually use the box end for turning, and the open end as a stationary backer wrench when I’m using a socket or second wrench’s box end to turn the movable bolt head of nut.

When I use the open end otherwise, it’s usually because I do need a more aggressive grip.

I have seen parallels to this in grippier hex bit sockets and tools, where I much prefer traditional straight or ball end hex tips rather than the breed of anti-slip tools.

Needs a 19mm. For the metric side. The saw side looks pretty normal.

Seems ok otherwise. Like the holders. I’d cross shop the tekton wrench set though. Little bit more complete I would say as good quality and they have different holder options. I’m a bit unusual but I like rollup pouches.

He must have mis-typed. They come 8-19 (no 9mm). Pretty good compromise all things considered.

Sorry – yes, it comes with 19mm, that got cut off from the size list somehow.

These are among my favorite wrenches. Excellent beam, nicely labeled, and I dig the open end. I actually had the ratchet set from last year or 2 years ago when they went on sale and they stand out compared to every other Chinese/Taiwan clone out there.z

I’m satisfied enough with the V series of this SBD iteration to not feel the need to double dip here

Decided to pick up both the SAE and Metric sets. I don’t discount the comments regarding the overly aggressive teeth. In my experience, a big factor is the quality and metal type of the fastener. I went through all of the reviews on Home Depot. There was one comment in ALL regarding that open end will round off the fastener but no specifics were provided. Again I don’t discount at all customer comments on this thread, but as an engineer and a DYI-er, I’ve learned that there are many factors when something goes wrong – wrench size, fastener material and removing or tightening processes, or potentially the tool in an application. But one thing that pushed me to give them a try were the many positive 4 and 5 star reviews. Typically if something is characteristically wrong with a tool, there would be more comments. People love to leave a negative review. Numbers are numbers… Plus, I figure sometimes I don’t care about the fastener, I just want it off. So these wrenches may be a useful option in my lower cost wrench set collection.

I’ve got the 15 piece sets of these in both metric and SAE. I really like the wrenches. Haven’t had any issue with it ruining fasteners. I am just a casual user of them though. Using them on my riding mower, car and other small engines.

I really don’t like the trays they come in though. Great if you keep your tools in a drawer and work near them, but not so great for portability. I carry my wrenches around my property to the areas I’m working. I bought some wrench rolls from Tekton that they fit in perfectly. I also bought the Packout trays, but haven’t migrated to them yet.

They’ve been good wrenches for me and my light use.

Just want to add that this set is a fantastic price. I’ve had mine for several years, but I probably didn’t really need the 15 piece sets. The 11 has all the common sizes and at $50 is a great deal.

The sockets are also on the holiday special right next to these wrenches for $29.99 . They have an anti roll away feature and come on a socket rail available in SAE or Metric while supplies last
