I’m burnt out from tool deals posts, but these seemed too good not to share.
Let me know if you want more tool deal mentions with little chitchat.
There are a bunch of other late-season deals, but right now I’m in my “it’s got to be really good, the bar is set very high” post-Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals-avoidance period.

Tool Deals for 12/15/25

Lowe’s $100 gift card for $90 at Amazon – if you’re going to spend some money at Lowe’s anyways, this essentially saves you $10.
The deal is for a physical gift card that takes time to ship to you.
Home Depot Tool Deals of the Day – lots of cordless power tool deals and more featuring Dewalt, Milwaukee, Ryobi, and others.
Some of the deals are great, others are ho-hum.
Amazon has the Dewalt planer package for $649, and the rolling stand for $179. Buying the bundle for $859 from Home Depot doesn’t make sense.

I see that the Milwaukee 1/2 mid-torque impact wrench with 5.0 battery and charger is <$200 again. Still a great value per foot-pound for someone who missed the 3/8 stubby deal and doesn’t need a small form factor!

Stuart, how do you get to the Barnes and Nobles, and Gap gift cards?
I can’t find them readily on B&N/Gap or Amazon. I just see face value gift cards.

Just the Amazon “today’s deals” link. I usually check that before filtering down to the power tools category, which doesn’t update that often after Cyber Monday.

Both of those XGT grinders sold out – I thought that price seemed unusually good. Hopefully this is a sign that Makita will run more promotions that get the prices down into Dewalt 60v territory.

Kind of have an eye on the Super Sawzall, it seems like $229 is the base price so an extra $30 for an 8ah Forge battery is a decent if not earth-shattering deal. Debating whether the orbital feature is really going to be a step up over the regular Fuel…

It doesn’t do anything the other one can’t, it just does it faster. Whether it’s worth it basically comes down to whether you’d measure your use of it on a given day in hours or minutes. If you’re doing full day demo jobs it can meaningfully speed things up but if you’re just pulling it out occasionally for smaller tasks it’s not going to make much of a difference. It’s quite large and heavy, and is more of a pain to store and transport as a result.
Dave
Appreciate the feedback! Since full-time demo is maybe 10-15 days a year but random recipro-saw tasks come up several times a week it sounds like I’d be better off all around with the basic Fuel, which I’ve handled and isn’t much bulkier than the 8-year-old brushed model I’d be replacing…

Isn’t the Lowe’s gift card with other stores a better option at 15% off?

Just to the right if the referenced one in the graphic.

For cards like that, you need to get the gift card, then go online and do some kind of an “exchange” to get an egift card.
It’s moot now, they’re both sold out.
