As mentioned in the title, I found more Prime Day tool deals that are worth sharing. Many of these are tool deals that I’d absolutely buy for my own use, and the others I’d take a chance on.
The difficulty with sorting through Prime Day deals is that there are so many little bargains. This isn’t Black Friday or Cyber Monday, where there can be huge discounts on flagship products.
What were you looking to buy? There’s probably a meaningful discount on something similar. And if not, the holiday shopping season is only just starting. You might want to give the main deals page a quick browse.

It’s been a WHILE now since I made any impulse-buys because of an enticing Prime Day deal. I certainly checked to see if anything I was already considering, or buy regularly, was on sale – but gone are the days when I scrolled through pages of deals to tempt myself in hopes of finding a big discount.
Many of the deals are $2-$5 of the “regular” price, which just isn’t lifechanging enough to make purchases I wasn’t already planning.
I appreciate your effort to look on my behalf though!
Stuart
It’s not just you.
Speaking about myself, there are two types of purchases: i) I’ve been looking to buy [product], great it’s on sale, and ii) ooh, I didn’t know I needed or wanted that, better grab it at a discount.
Sharpie markers (12-pack, black) are $9 right now – https://www.amazon.com/Sharpie-Permanent-Markers-Resistant-Coloring/dp/B00006IFHD/?tag=toolguyd-20
And they also have a “buy 2, save 50% on 1” promo right now – https://www.amazon.com/promotion/psp/A34C99BRXK6CL5?tag=toolguyd-20 .
How many readers were planning to buy Sharpie markers today. But if they see the sale, and also that Sharpie USA-made gel pens are included in the multi-buy discount offer, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B082PN3YD3?m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&tag=toolguyd-20 , well, some folks are going to buy some markers and pens.
Consider the coupon offer I posted about today – https://toolguyd.com/make-your-own-tool-deal-october-prime-day-2025/ .
In a few days, a reader will email me “do you think [tool that’s rarely discounted]” will be discounted over the holiday season? It’s discounted NOW. Scrolling, searching, filtering is a barrier.
Looking at the anonymous logs, a reader just ordered one of the Anker 6-port USB chargers that are linked above, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CT2NQ7WG/?tag=toolguyd-20 . They paid $5 less than I saw it for earlier, which matched the price I paid July 2024. So now the discount is even better. I’ve wanted another one, but didn’t want to pay full price. I was debating buying another at $55. At $50, the barrier is lower and I’m likely to buy my third charger of this kind.
There’s a discount on the Web bench grinder stand right now – https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08ZVXSW7V/?tag=toolguyd-20 . Yep, I saw this in the anonymous affiliate logs. If I include that in the next reader picks roundup, there’s a chance at least one other reader thinks “I’ve been meaning to move my grinder off the workbench!”
I scroll, sort, filter, and curate the deals that I think will be most helpful, because yes sales events like this are absolutely overwhelming.

Thanks Stuart, I’ve been waiting for the Dremel 8240 to go on sale. Just grabbed one!

Does anyone know if the Dremel is compatible with Bosch 12v battery packs? Can’t really tell much from the photos, but it looks to be the same form factor…
928'er
Edit: Just read through some of the reviews on Amazon and several of the reviewers said it is compatible with the Bosch 12v batteries. One of them even posted a photo with a Bosch battery in the Dremel tool.
Makes it pretty temping as I have lots of Bosch 12v batteries. Problem is, I already have the Ryobi with the flexible shaft thingy – so I don’t really need it….

Bosch batteries fit in the Dremel 8250 I picked up a while ago. I don’t have any of the Dremel branded batteries so not sure if they’ll fit in the Bosch tools without modification.

Those cabinet jacks look to go full ceiling height and are very handy. Great deal on a 4pk.

I recommend that everyone avoid Blink video doorbells. Been there, done that.. There is so much latency in their system that whomever was at your door is likely long gone by the time you find your phone and open the app. The ad copy showing you having a video chat with the smiling people at your door is just outright fraud.
Absolute POS. Two year battery life is an outright lie. Requires expensive Energizer lithium AA’s and eats them for lunch. I was lucky to get two months from a pair.
The worst thing about it (which is not disclosed) is that it doesn’t include an indoor chime! What good is a doorbell that only rings outside the house?
For all the gory details see my review on Amazon.

The doorbell rings to your phone. Not sure about your lag issue. We are able to have conversations with people at our door without issue. Our blink doorbell is probably pushing 2 years old. We’ve been through about 4 sets of batteries, but considering it goes off any time someone goes in or out or approaches the door, it gets triggered a lot.
The doorbell can be wired into an existing interior doorbell and pull power from it as well, if I remember correctly. Our dog goes nuts when the doorbell rings so having the Blink go to our phones saves a fair bit of drama with him.

Your experience with the Blink video doorbell sounds vastly different from mine. There is minimal activity at my front door, but I went through 5 sets of batteries in the 9 months before it completely stopped working at all.
This is probably not the place to get into it, so here is a link to my review on Amazon:

Never have I had an Anker product fail on me, except one. And what “Failed” was I tripped, fell, and it literally broke when I put my hand out to stop my fall. It was a Qi phone stand, and just snapped. Considering this was my own fault, I would suggest you all jump on any chance you can to get Anker products. They Perform extremely well!
Though, another brand up there, Reekon, still has a mysterious “Ick” factor for me. The buttons they use look like the ones on toys from the 1980’s, and as much as I do trust they are higher quality than that, it is a personal quirk that I genuinely don’t want their products. If you aren’t cursed with this “80’s toy buttons” thing like me, go get the Reekon products. At least their concepts and execution seem better than the button thing.
Stuart
Anker replaced the USB cable that failed in my cart, was a very quick and easy process.
Reekon is EXCELLENT. It’s a small company that spent a lot of time listening to contractors and developing quality tools. They put the work in, and genuinely care about developing and supporting a product the proper way. Their tools are functional and well made – the shape or look of the buttonss is a trivial concern.

Anker truly is a great company. I’ve nabbed everything from cables to phone chargers (one is currently charging my phone as we speak.) to massive power banks and charging stations. If I could afford the massive power bank on wheels, I would be happy to grab that. There isn’t a single Anker product, not even the one I accidentally broke, that I wouldn’t recommend with every fiber of my being, to anyone, and everyone.
As to Reekon, as I said, as long as you don’t have that “80’s Toy Buttons” thing, like I do, Absolutely Go for their Products! Though that miter saw setup, when it was released, ToolGuyd had a nice, lively discussion about how some warping or minor irregularity to what you are cutting may lead to some inaccuracies in what you’re cutting, I can guarantee the Tomahawk T1 and the updated T1M “Utility” and P1L “Tagger” (A Jobsite Label Maker) all seem to be spectacular tools. Even their connectivity software seems to be ideal for jobsites. The company, and engineering, again, I absolutely would recommend. I just, personally, have that weird “80’s Toy Buttons” quirk, which even I do not understand why it’s giving me that. Their buttons only appear to be like the ones on 80’s toys, that kind of plastic was banned from production in the mid-90’s, and I know it. The look just feels weird to me. And I’m a very odd person as a whole, so it shouldn’t deter others from diving into Reekon’s innovations here! Even back in the 80’s, those buttons I’m talking about weren’t cheap, they worked, and were large and proportional to a kid’s hands. It’s not a warning against Reekon. I think it may be something odd, unique to me, unless there are other ToolGuyd users who get the same weird feeling. Then it’s not unique to me, and not a valid reason not to get Reekon products. It’s just not for me, personally.
I do remember saying, from the original release of the T1 “Tomahawk”, that if they were to use a different design for the buttons, either shape or size, then I, too, would dive on that device. Now, years later, the same statement applies to the T1 and T1M, and that P1L “Tagger” looks downright Fun for labelling and sorting things around my home! Entire toolboxes and inventories. I’m just weird about the design of the buttons. The company is one I would still recommend, with all my heart!
