Rockler Click N Carve Premium

A new press release just hit our inbox, discussing Rockler’s new affordable and easy to use CNC routing machines. The two new entry-level CNC machines are designed to make automated carving technology more accessible to hobbyists and small woodworking business.

The Click-N-Carve line includes two machines – a base model (BE2015) and a premium model (BE3030). The base model has X, Y, and Z axis travel dimensions of 8.7″, 6.3″, and 2.5″, and the premium model 11.8″, 11.8″, and 4″. In addition to greater carving capacity, the premium model has a more powerful spindle motor (80W vs. 30W), which Rockler says results in greater carving speeds.

Both machines are said to be able to translate digital photographs and other coded input into extremely intricate carvings in just minutes. Rockler also says that typical use of the machines will be to make anything from signs to art pieces and cabinet doors.

These new CNC routers are “plug and play” via USB, making them very beginner-friendly. From what we can tell, the included software is just as easy to use, hence the Click-N-Carve product family name. In fact, the new CNCs can be up and running right out of the box.

The base machine is priced at $1600, and the premium one is $2200. While these prices may seem a tad high, they’re definitely more affordable than Rockler’s more capable Shark CNC machines.

This looks like it’s just a rebranded product from Bravoprodigy, which explains why that’s the software it comes with. It looks like it’s compatible with a few other programs, so I wonder if it can be used on Mac or Linux with other software.

Rockler or the manufacturer should be able to help you with that.

I have the software, I just inherited the Click n Carve and after registering it online at BravoProdigy they sent me the install and driver files. It also includes VCarve.

Dennis, I only have the Edit software. I’d enjoy using the machine more but I’m limited on what I can do with that software. You mentioned VCarve was included? Any help is appropriate
