Other Noteworthy Blogs to Check Out

Jul 17, 2009 Stuart 5 Comments

If you buy something through our links, ToolGuyd might earn an affiliate commission.

We just wanted to give a brief shout out to a few other noteworthy tool blogs that you may want to take a look at.

ToolSnob posts several times a week, and while we enjoy all of their posts, their reviews are always exceptionally informative and well written.

Coptool is the blog arm of Ohio Power Tool. One of the things we like most about this blog is that they post about events (such as local “power tool drag races”), tool promotions, and competitions that we would otherwise never find out about.

We also particularly enjoyed Coptool’s recent Tool Talkie Awards in which we ranked as runner up for Rookie of the Year. We’re eager to see which category ToolGuyd will qualify for next year!

Tool-Rank offers up tool reviews and news, as well as the occasional awesome tool/accessory find, such as this recent post about wooden geared clocks.

We keep up with these and other blogs by subscribing to their RSS feeds via an RSS reader such as Google’s. For more information about how to do this, check out the Google Reader help section.

Google Reader is how I keep up with ToolGuyd, along with so many other sites. Craigslist and ebay are great through Google Reader if anybody else isn’t using it for that yet.

Congrats on Rookie of the Year Runner Up Stuart. We’ll start helping you more and more with added traffic! keep up the good work!

Chris, that is indeed another decent blog. TM was not mentioned here since this post was not intended to be a comprehensive blog list.

We might compile such a list in the future, but decided that it would be more useful for the ToolGuyd audience to only mention a few blogs/links at a time.

Stuart, thanks for the kind words. You’ve got a great site going. I predict many more Tool Talkies in the years to come.
