Amazon 15 Percent Tools Coupon Deal for Prime Day October 2025

It seems that customers haven’t bought enough stuff during Amazon’s Prime Day sales event, because a new coupon offer popped up.

Now and until an unspecified ending time or date, save 15% when you buy at least $149 of eligible tools and home improvement products.

Amazon says that there are over 1000 qualifying items.

While the selection is very random, it includes great tools from top brands such as Dewalt, Knipex, Dremel, Worx, Irwin, Channellock, Skil, Bosch, Bessey, Fiskars, Swanson, Flexzilla, Wiha, Streamlight, and more.

The catch is that you need to spend over $149 to get the savings, which shouldn’t be hard to do, given the selection I’ve look through so far.

There are some exclusions, such as how the offer only applies to products sold by Amazon and not 3rd party sellers.

Like I said, it’s very random. For instance, Wiha metric hex drivers are eligible, but their inch set is not.

I tested this my adding the max number of Knipex TwinGrip pliers to my cart, and sure enough I saw the discount appear at checkout.

There does not appear to be a savings cap. Meaning, I added over $2,000 eligible items to my cart to test, and sure enough they took 15% off at checkout (over $300).

I cannot find any mention of an end date or time. It could end tonight with Prime Day, or it might be extended. All I know is that I didn’t see this offer yesterday or earlier, and only saw it now when checking to see if a particular tool dropped in price (it had).

The selection is full of name-brand stuff, most of which I have or would buy without hesitation.

Looking to save on power tools? There’s another 15% offer happening right now: Make Your Own Tool Deal – 15% off Milwaukee, Makita, More (ends 10/9/25).

Update: Amazon’s secret coupon offer ended early on 10/10/25.

While that 15% saving is real, the catch may be that you end up paying a higher initial price for the products that are included in that deal.

My claim is based only a single real world example. Yesterday I happened to order a 50′ swivel grip Flexzilla hose in Brown Mulch for $28.50. Here’s the URL:

    https://www.amazon.com/Flexzilla-Lightweight-All-Weather-Leak-Free-Connections/dp/B01N6NL6R2/

I noticed that your screen shot included a Flexzilla hose, so I checked the price for that same hose with the 15% deal and it was $44.99. So even after you get that 15% discount, it is still more expensive!

Both deals were sold and shipped by Amazon.

Pretty dirty of Amazon if they are luring you to pay more initially, on the promise of a 15% discount. As always, buyer beware.

(I realize that once Amazon Prime Days closes the links above may not show anything meaningful, but my point stands: the link Amazon provides to steer you towards the 15% discount may not be the only price that exact item is sold for.)

It depends on the product. The Dewalt cordless screwdriver is typically $80, and it went back to that price after Prime Day ended.

3M 95 masks are around where they typically are, and same with the Knipex pliers and Dewalt Tstak tool box.

I don’t think Amazon raised prices for this discount; their prices are typically average, lower than average, or higher than average, with no obvious rationale or patterns behind this.

On that Flexzilla, they are terrible looking hoses after a few seasons. The mildew? or whatever makes black splotches, is all over my “no longer bright green” hose. I have the 100′ and let me tell you, rolling that up takes a bit. BTW, getting cooler out and once we start seeing weeks of sub 35F, it meets the airhose for a blow, and then stored for season (or leave with the next home owner). I don’t like Amazon’s tricks at pricing.
Do you know that I was clicking on checkout, the screen froze and it moved the button to Get Prime, signed me up! And when I cancelled it, refunded me HALF! I mean we are talking 10 secs for a loss of $8!!! I called my Amex up that this was illegal. Thank goodness for American Express…

Yep, they do get gross when left outside, but should be easy to clean if it bothers you.

So you’re saying that Amazon hijacked your mouse and moved it over to click the “get Prime” button? I’ve never heard of that happening before.
