Snap-on-Cordless-75W-Drop-Work-Light

Technically, the above pictured “Snap-on” 75W  “cordless” “heavy duty” drop work light is cordless since it it sold without a power cord. The lamp accepts 75W incandescent bulbs, and relies on a user-supplied 3-prong extension cord for power.

Since this work light is not mentioned anywhere on Snap-on’s website, it is likely a licensed 3rd party product. This is but one product of many emerging from Snap-on’s foray into the consumer tool market.

It remains to be seen whether this is part of a phase or a permanent business strategy. All we hope is that there are no more surprises. If you’d like one of these lamps, you can pick one up for about $15.

    I have seen that at Ace Hardware, who also offer “official” Snap-On extension cords to go with it.
