Amazon has a bunch of Victorinox Swiss Army knives and multi-tools on sale for their October Big Prime Deal Days event.
Victorinox Swiss Army Knives are multi-functional pocket knives with an array of different tools and features. Many have scissors, some have corkscrews. All are high quality – at least in my experiences – with a focus on function with a touch of polish.

Not sure which to buy? How about the Super Tinker in red, which is priced at $29.16, with Amazon saying you save 35% off the list price of $45.

Most retailers do sell these tools at list pricing, and so ~$29 does seem like a good price for this $45 multi-tool.
This Swiss Army Knife features a knife blade, can opener, screwdrivers, scissors, reamer/awl, and multi-purpose hook. It also has Victorinox’s iconic tweezers and toothpick, and yes, they’re replaceable.

Not a fan of classic red? This Pioneer X with silver Alox finish is $44 right now, which is less than I paid for mine during the Prime Day sale in July (~$46). Other Victorinox dealers are selling it at the $65 list price.
BladeHQ has the 2025 limited edition in stone red for $77.
Amazon also have the Victorinox Huntsman in white for $40. The red one is $2 less, black is $12 more, and there are other color options up to $59. There are plenty of other SAK deals and discounts, you just have to look for them.

Need pliers? Amazon has the Victorinox SwissTool for $128.34.

I have the Pioneer Alox which is similar to the one show above but without scissors – I really like the form factor. It’s much slimmer than other Victorinox SAKs and it has a handy assortment of tools.

Wish the Jetsetter with USB drive was still being produced. Years ago I got one for my wife and wish I had bought several.

My favorite, “Compact” is not on sale. It has scissors, bottle opener and corkscrew, which is all I use, and is slim although still a bit long.

Thanks Stuart.
Snagged one for each of my 3 kids.
I just read an article about how Victorinix is planning for the really high Swiss import tariffs.
Prices are already up compared to what they were 5 years ago and once their stock of previously imported tools dwindles, there’s no guarantee that they’ll come back down again.

Carried a Rally for years! definitely under appreciated

The models with the aluminum scales feel extra robust. I’ve got a couple of those I really like.
If anyone has or finds older SAKs with damaged/missing plastic scales, check Etsy for all sorts of upgrades & replacements for those scales. It’s another whole ecosystem. And they’re surprisingly easy to apply, too.

My mother in law used to work for GE HQ, and one year they gave out Swiss Army Knives to all their employees. It was the “Climber” model in Black with the GE logo inlayed. I carry it every day since she did not want it.
