Tyler Tool Now Part of CPO Network

We have received word that Tyler Tool has been purchased by CPO, a massive network of online power tool stores.

For years, Tyler Tool customers have enjoyed a great selection of leading brands and low prices, not to mention good old fashioned customer service. Now Tyler Tool is powered by CPO’s fully stocked warehouse, with more than 5,000 items in stock and ready to ship the same day.

The Tyler Tool website was down yesterday as CPO worked to update it, and it looks like it’s now up and running again.

CPO plans to operate Tyler Tool as an extension of their existing storefronts, and we’re told that they will also carry additional brands and products not currently sold at any of their dedicated network stores.

CPO Outlets usually received high praise for customer satisfaction, and their prices are reasonable and occasionally lower than found elsewhere. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out.

I’ve bought seveal tools from Tyler over the last couple of years – found them to be pretty competitive. CPO seems to be less so of late – so I’m sorry for the loss of a competitor

I just looked at the CPO website and compared prices for some things on my wish list to some of the big box stores in the area and Rocklers. CPO is as high or higher and I would have to pay shipping. Taking them off my list.

Warning, do business with this CPO company at your own risk. “customer care” dept. my ass, they don’t have one. Do not expect to receive your product, and definitely don’t ever expect to get a response from them.

I used Ebay/paypal to buy a CPO product. It was less this way, faster shipping, and more secure. If they send me a lemon, I’ll just report them to the resolution center, which will stop all their paypal actions until they make a strong effort to resolve the matter.
