Where to Buy NWS Pliers?

NWS Ergo Combi Plier Fantastico Plus Cutter and Multi-Ergo Plier

NWS is a German hand-tool manufacturer that produces some very, very good pliers and cutters. The brand is not too well known in the USA, but they’re picking up some momentum. But the big question is: where can you buy them?

Previously there was only one source – Chads Tool Box. I like Chads and have placed several orders from them, but they’re not very transparent about availability – what’s in stock, what’s backordered, and how long it may take for a particular tool to be delivered. I usually order from Chads when I can save a few bucks and don’t mind having to potentially wait a few weeks for my order.

There is now a new source for these tools – German Hand Tools (we’ll call ’em GHT), which is run by Garage Journal forum member Ash, aka ash95608. GHT inspects all tools before shipping them out (which is great news for finicky folks such as myself), and they maintain a good-sized supply of the most popular styles for immediate shipping.

If you’re looking to pick up a pair of NWS pliers or cutters or two and have any questions, Ash over at GHT can certainly help you out. He’s very knowledgeable about the tools, and his level of customer service has earned him and GHT quite a few glowingly positive testimonials. Although I think their website could use a little refinement, GHT will likely be my preferred source for future NWS pliers purchases.

Sorry, I don’t know, and wouldn’t know where to begin. You could try contacting NWS to see if there are any authorized dealers in your region.

I will like to order hand pliers. Specifications include 3/16 in. maximum rivet capacity, 9.65 in. length, and 1.3 lbs. weight

If you like the angled needle nose pliers from NWS , Pheonix Contact has what looks like the same pliers with the Pheonix Contact logo on them. Maybe it would be easier ordering from this American company. 800-888-7388 part number #UNIFOX-PE VDE

It’s hard to tell from the low resolution images I could find, but Pheonix’s pliers look like they could be made by NWS.
