Wiha Made in USA Multi-Bit Screwdrivers

Amazon’s Prime Day 2021 sales event is going on now, and there are new WIHA screwdriver deals included in the mix.

I purchased and reviewed the new Wiha USA-made multi-bit screwdrivers, and have contined to use them both. So far, both screwdrivers are comfortable and convenient to use, and the bits are proving to be strong and durable.

Both the 6-in-1 and 11-in-1 multi-bit drivers are on sale for 20-21% off. They were good buys at the regular price, and are even greater values at this new Amazon Prime Day deal pricing.

The hard decision here isn’t whether you should buy one, but which one to buy.

Wiha 6-in-1 Screwdriver Sizes (77890)

  • Phillips #1, #2
  • Slotted 3/16″, 1/4″
  • Nut Drivers 1/4″, 5/16″

Wiha 11-in-1 Screwdriver (77891)

  • Phillips #1, #2
  • Slotted 3/16″, 1/4″
  • Torx T20, T25
  • Square #1, #2
  • Nut Drivers 1/4″, 5/16″, 3/8″

6-in-1 Price: Was $15.96, on Sale for $12.60

11-in-1 Price: Was $19.98, on Sale for $16.01

Buy Now: 11-in-1 via Amazon

The screwdriver handles are made in the USA, and the metal screwdriver bits are made at Wiha’s facility in Vietnam.

The deals will presumably be valid 6/21-6/22/2021.

Wiha Stubby Screwdriver Bit Holder

I received a tip that this Wiha magnetic 1/4″ hex stubby screwdriver bit holder is also on sale. If it is, the discount is small, but it seemed worth mentioning. Maybe there will be a flash sale later on?

Price: $12.10

Ordered the 6-in-1, seems like a good deal. Hope I like it. I plan on using it in my super stripped down crawlspace/attic tool pouch. I can replace two screwdrivers and a 5/16 nut driver; less tools is good in those spots.

    Got mine yesterday.

I have bigger hands and thought the handle was too long to be properly ergonomic.

1″ to 2″ shorter handle would have made all the difference.

Don’t hate it, don’t love it.

I used to be a big fan of Wiah but it looks like they are going out of business or something? If you look at their website or KC tools their inventory is a fraction of what it was not that long ago. They have inexplicably discontinued huge amounts of their tools. Tools that were obviously selling very well and were getting rave reviews by their customers. I’ve never witnessed a company that had successful products stop selling them without a viable replacement before… especially products that undoubtedly have a very low manufacturing cost. It looks like they are pushing the soft touch, which I own and do not like.

Unfortunately I haven’t found better drivers than Wiha dynamic handles, bit holders, 10810 blade holders. etc.

Perhaps something similar exists that we haven’t found yet?

We haven’t learned the *why*, but KC Tool isn’t selling Wiha anymore. I haven’t looked at the Wiha USA website closely enough to have noticed any trends or patterns there.
