So many exclusions, so little time…

I spent a couple of hours surfing though the sub sections before I found a couple of items I could use that were not excluded or cost less elsewhere even with the discount.

Zoro can be hit or miss with the discounted prices.
But – as examples we found that with 25% off (they used to do 30% too) they were really good on some Jancy, Mid-West (backflow testers) , Starrett and Wheeler Rex items that I bought for our Plumbing business.
Knowing that the sales came in cycles, we’d put together a list of candidates ahead of time, do our comparison shopping. then for the items where Zoro was good, we’d save a shopping list on their site as what they call a “quote”. Then when a sale came up – we’d double check the list and buy what we still needed and could save us some money.

While they may be hit or miss on the prices, they sure don’t pussy foot around when shipping out the order. Half of my order from yesterday has already been delivered…

        Yep

I tried them out for our plumbing business soon after they launched in 2011 – but then continued to buy from them after I sold-up and retired.
We had used Grainger (their parent company) quite a bit – and I think that it was an announcement from Grainger – plus an early on 30% off sale that got me started. I’ve found that they stock most of what they sell – but sometimes drop ship from a manufacturer’s warehouse – and perhaps from a Grainger warehouse as well.
