Zoro Flash Sale May 2014

The folks at Zoro sent over some early information that they will be having another one of their famous Flash Sales tomorrow, 5/15/2014.

There will be a 15% discount all day on orders of $200 or more, and if you order between 11am and 2pm CT, you can get 30% off your order.

Coupon Code: LIGHTNING
Offer: 30% off $200+ ($2k savings cap)
Valid Dates: 5/15 (11AM – 2PM CT)

Code: THUNDER
Offer: 15% off $200+ ($2k savings cap)
Valid Dates: 5/15 All Day

There’s also free shipping on all orders through May 18th. Typically there’s a $50 minimum for free shipping.

The last time Zoro had a flash sale, which was in March, we spent a heck of a lot of money on some new equipment for the ToolGuyd workshop and test lab.

I’m already adding a few items to my shopping – Bosch L-Boxxes, a Dake USA-made arbor press to replace the sloppy Palmgren press I’ve been struggling with, and some Roper Whitney hand punch accessories, although my budget says I’ll need to save some of these for a later sale.

Update: The coupon code is entered at the final checkout step. Also, don’t forget to check the “I have read and agreed to the Terms and Conditions” box.

This is done at the final checkout step. I added a screenshot to the post to show where.

I typically enter and apply the coupon code and then check the “terms and conditions” box afterwards.

Now THIS was my kind of sale. Picked up 4 l-boxx4s for 44.50 each. And no dealing with inflated prices for the soon to be father’s day promotion (ahem, Amazon), or navigating multiple transactions for $20 off $100. I have a feeling I’ll be heading back for more. Thanks, Stuart!

I purchased some very high value equipment from them in recent months. Not all of my orders have been flawless, but their customer service is top-notch and they take care of even minor issues very swiftly and effectively.

Also, Zoro isn’t a small independent company – they’re part of Grainger.

I am also the type to stress about online orders, and I do have full faith in the company.

Tyler, No worried about Zoro. I’ve spent over $5K with them in the last two years, including a plasma cutter, generator, garage gas-fired heater, welding machine, and power supplies. They’ve been very prompt to ship, have good customer service (I had to return the plasma cutter), and have never messed around with orders.
