Bondhus BriteGuard Balldriver Hex Wrench Sets

Right now Amazon has some great pricing on Bondhus BriteGuard Balldriver L hex wrench sets. Bondhus’s long length 13 piece SAE set covering sizes 0.050 to 3/8″ is currently priced at about $13 ~$21, and the 15 piece metric set covering sizes 1.27 to 10mm is priced at $17.20 ~$20.

If you don’t need as many sizes, you may want to take a look at the cheaper combination Bondhus GoldGuard set.

Update: Sometime after this post was published in March 2010, the deal ended and Amazon raised the price back up.

I bought a set of the none-“BrightGuard” ball-end hex wrenches, and I love them. The tolerances are very tight, and the wrenches feel very firm even down to the 0.050 one.

Thank you for your short review!

While there’s nothing wrong with Bondhus’s normal tool finish, tools with their BriteGuard coating feel a bit nicer to hold and use. For screwdriver handled and T-handled hex drivers, I opt for the uncoated industrial finish.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. It seems that Amazon raised the price in the 4-1/2 years since this deal post was published.
