Today – the Sunday after Thanksgiving – is typically a slow day when it comes to tool deals. A lot of the better Black Friday tools have sold out, priced have started changing, and retailers are gearing up for Cyber Monday promos.

Still, I came across a couple of tool deals that you might find interesting.

I’ll do a little more digging to see if I can find any more deals to add to the list later tonight. And if not, see you on Cyber Monday!

New Tool Deals for Cyber Sunday

Kobalt still has their battery-powered kids car and scooter in stock. Maybe they should have released something like this earlier than the day before Thanksgiving? Seems like these are the kinds of things that would ordinarily sell out fast.

Ordered a few of the AA batteries, the Kirkland brand leak all the time, I have 4 small children and we go through piles of AA and AAA batteries.

I gave up and started using eneloop rechargeables – even though they don’t last as long the cost savings is immense.

I’m also experimenting with using a buck converter to change some of the larger items to use M12.

By “last as long” I mean a normal alkaline battery lasts longer than one charge of the rechargeables – but the alkaline isn’t rechargeable of course

I try to use eneloops or similar as much as possible. They work great in any kids toy that auto turns off or can’t be left on in a way to endlessly draw power. I’ve killed many batteries from over discharge in kids toys like a motorized train with no auto off that stalls silently against the wall.

Have you tried the 3000mah eneloops?

I have not seen these yet – pricey but might have to try a set.

          The what-now?

          3000mAh?

Highest capacity I’ve used are 2550 mAh.
