HOT Deal: Dewalt 12V Brushless Drill, Impact Driver, or Impact Wrench and Tstak Tool Box Kit for $90!

Now is a very, VERY good time to buy that Dewalt 12V Max Xtreme Subcompact cordless power tool kit that’s been on your wishlist! Over at Acme Tools, they have new promo bundles that feature Tstak tool box bundles, and they’re eligible for the active Dewalts $25 off $100+ coupon!

Right now, these kits are priced at $115. But enter the Dewalt $25 off promo code at checkout, and the price drops to $89! Acme has free shipping over $49, and so it’s $90 plus tax “out the door.”

I’ve been using the new Dewalt 12V Max Xtreme Subcompact cordless drill for a few weeks now, and really like it a lot. Not, it doesn’t deliver heavy duty 18V (or 20V Max) cordless performance, but it’s a capable tool that’s also very compact.

The kit comes with the drill, (2) 2.0Ah batteries, charger, and Tstak tool box.

Dewalt 12V Max Xtreme Subcompact Cordless Impact Driver and Tstak Tool Box Kit

I haven’t used the new Dewalt 12V Max brushless impact driver as much as the drill/driver, but it’s also a very capable tool, with 1450 in-lbs max torque rating. It also has 3 modes, including a “Precision Drive” setting.

The Precision Drive feature pauses the impact driver for one second before impacting commences, which protects the fastener and material surface, giving users control during applications that require higher precision.

In all seriousness, this might also be my new favorite 12V-class compact impact driver.

Update 11/26/19: Promo does NOT work on the impact driver anymore.

Dewalt 12V Max Xtreme Subcompact Cordless Impact Wrench and Tstak Tool Box Kit

There’s also a special promo bundle featuring the new brushless 3/8″ impact driver. It has 3 modes including a “Precision Wrench” setting, and 1500 in-lbs max torque.

Dewalt’s Precision Wrench setting helps to prevent overtightening in the forward direction, and fastener run-0ff in reverse.

Discussion

The “regular” versions of these kits are still at their normal pricing ($139 or $149 each), but we expect them to drop down to $99 for the holidays. However, looking at the fine print for Acme Tools’ promo, all of the new 12V Max drill, impact driver, impact wrench, and screwdriver kits are excluded from this $25 off promo.

But, somehow these special cordless tool kit and Tstak tool box bundles made the cut. Frankly, I expected these special promo kits to be excluded from the $25 off $100+ promo, but for some reason they are eligible – not that I’m complaining!

The drill and impact driver combo kit is also excluded from the current promo, and is price-fixed at $149 right now.

$115 is a fair price for these Dewalt cordless tool and Tstak tool box kit bundles, seeing as how the tool kits are $99 sans Tstak during seasonal sales. But $90 after coupon? That’s a great price, and you get the Tstak tool box instead of the usual basic tool bag!

Please let us know if you learn learn of any other noteworthy deals made possible by the Dewalt $25 off $100+ promo!

Stuart, how does it compare to Milwaukee m12 fuel impact and drill?

      Much slimmer handle.

I haven’t compared on power yet. M12 Fuel drills and drivers are designed be high-powered 12V-class tools. The new Dewalt 12V are designed to be more compact. For instance, M12 Fuel has a 1/2″ chuck, Dewalt 12V Max has 3/8″.

It’s actually quite hard to tell how big these are with nothing to reference them against – too bad we can’t see them next to another item.

Comparing DeWalt 20v to 12v side by side in store the 12v is clearly smaller but with the same grip(I like) but even better the 12v is half the weight(feels that way anyway). I’m certain Milwaukee wins in pure power in this class but frankly I don’t think DeWalt cares.

Awesome. I was recently asking you regarding the price increase, but now I don’t have to wait for the kits to drop back to $99.

I was trying to find your comment to reply directly, but didn’t have good luck. I’m glad you found this post!

I spotted the new kit + Tstak bundles while checking the price of the regular kits again, and while I was nearly convinced the promo wouldn’t work, I gave it a try and it did!

These are great units, I am a Makita/Bosch guy some Milwaukee too. But I may just buy one to have they are small, literally will do 80-90 percent of the drilling I would need, they will screw well over 100 1.5 inch sheet rock screws and the batteries almost feel fake they are so light, at least on my friends. They feel great in my hand as well, I have Bosch 12v and prefer the DeWalt grip better and the bonus of being able to just sit the drill on the bottom of the battery and it sits ready to use.

I dumped all my older M12 stuff and bought all of the new 12v max units instead of upgrading to the M12 Fuel. I prefer the Dewalt’s ergo’s.

For installing things in boats, which is what I do, the impact and drill are great! However, I used the 3/8 impact with regular sockets and the sockets kept getting stuck on the friction ring. I used the drill with the 3M headlight restoring kit and burned through 3 batteries cleaning up two headlights.

now if you can just find me some sort of deal on the 12 volt drill and impact driver kit. that would give me 3 tools and 4 batteries. how does 119 or 125 sound?

That’s what I’m gunning for with this 3/8 lol I grabbed the drill+¼” impact, 2 batts, and charger for the $130 intro price. Both tools have been great, so I’m thinking an extra $99 or less is a no brainier to add a wrench and bump up to 4 batteries, with 2 chargers. The only thing I’m unsure about is how to round it all off regarding a saw. Definitely gonna get the atomic single hand, but they’re going to need a solid 12v recip to really get the line to take off again in my opinion. I always liked my old pivoting one, but it’s ancient and under powered by other 12v offerings in today’s standards.

The 12v version of the atomic one handed saw is coming out soon. I’ve seen a couple people post about it in Instagram from the STAFDA event.

Kizzle the only other ones I know of is an inline screwdriver and an oscillating multi tool. The only source I have on that is an instagram influencer account comment and an old picture when the 12v was first announced.

Anyone have opinions on this Dewalt Rotary Hammer Drill? Looks like it’s $219 on Amazon vs. other places that have it at $299 and it qualifies for the $25 off 100 deal.

It’s a great little rotohammer. I had my first one for 3-4 years, bought for installing tons of 3/8-3/4″ concrete anchors in shotcrete, underground, and it kicked ass. Eventually I found great use for it’s chipping function, doing various dirt work piping, utility entries through footings and such, and only a few months ago did it finally give up the ghost after 2 months of heavy chiseling in hardplate and clay to get a lot of pipe level and to correct depth. Immediately requested model for model replacement from my boss. The brushless D handle has a slightly higher impact energy, I believe, but lacks the vibration dampening this L handle does, and it’s noticable. For me, this also trumps the D handle for size, I can get it in a lot of tight places like anchoring cabinets and switchgear in place. Cons would be there vacuum attachment that comes made for it isn’t cheap or useable by any other model as far as I know, and if you’re like me and tighten the crap out of everything, the auxiliary handle bolt is encased in regular tool plastic, and will eventually strip it out of its place, making it unable to tighten or loosen anymore. The light on the very front bottom is also very underwhelming and doesn’t really provide any purpose outside of the darkest occasional situations in which you have zero other source for some reason. I used mine well beyond it’s intended purpose for years, and I was genuinely shocked when it broke. To clarify, what broke was just the internal percussion mechanism- it still runs and turns fine, but you can hear whatever sheered/snapped off rattling if you flip it around aggressively lol but she just won’t ratatatat anymore for me. Sorry for the length of the response.

ordered my 3/8 impact on sunday night and it arrived tuesday afternoon. only about 100 miles from the warehouse but that is still fast delivery. it looks like a great tool, well built and small as one would expect. you can barely find it in the tstak box. the shipping box was huge. the impact, charger, batteries and bag came in normal dewalt packaging while the tstak box was just packed along with it.

now i am just more tempted to add the drill and 1/4 impact driver.

don’t know if anyone is still interested but “runnings” has the extreme 12v brushless kit for 169 with a free 3ah battery promo. they also have the 12v light for 25.

i ended up with the 3/8 impact, 1/4 impact , drill, light, 2 bags, 2 chargers, 4 2ah batteries, a 3ah battery and the tstak box for less than 285 pretax.

i know that is not dirt cheap but i don’t know how one could have put that much together for less…… and except for the bags it all fits in the tstak box.
