Ryobi Tool Deals of the Day 12-5-2025 at Home Depot

Ryobi says that they’ve got the best deals of the year, today only (12/5/25) at Home Depot.

I took a look, and there really are some substantial values and deep discounts on dozens of Ryobi cordless power tool deals. The deals mainly feature Ryobi 18V cordless power tools, but there are some USB Lithium and 40V outdoor power tools as well.

The online-only deals end at 3am ET 12/6/25 unless supplies sell out sooner.

Here are some of the Ryobi tool deals that stood out to me.

Ryobi 18V Cordless Reciprocating Saw Kit + Marker – $49

This is similar to the Black Friday doorbuster deal, but they also give you a free permanent marker and free delivery.

Ryobi 4V Cordless Screwdriver – $18.97

Ryobi 18V HP Brushless Motor Cordless Snow Blower Kit – $399

Ryobi 18V Cordless Power Tool Combo Kit – Drill, Circular Saw, Reciprocating Saw – $129

Ryobi 18V Cordless Miter Saw Kit – $129

Yes, that’s $129 for the tool (7-1/4″ non-sliding saw), a 4Ah battery, and charger.

Ryobi 18V HP Brushless 1/2″ Impact Wrench Kit (includes High Performance 4Ah Battery) – $139

Ryobi 18V Cordless Reciprocating Saw with 2-Battery Starter Set – $79

This is similar to the “free tool” deal, but you get an extra $20 off.

Ryobi 18V Cordless Angle Grinder with 2-Battery Starter Set – $79

Ryobi 18V Cordless Soap Dispensing Scrubber Kit with Extra Brush – $159

This is a $199 kit plus a $25 brush. They also have the non-dispensing model kit for $119.

Ryobi Cordless Scrubbers Comparison Chart 2025

Hmm. Non-dispensing scrubber kit for $119, vs dispensing kit plus extra scrubbing pad for $159. There’s also a non-kit bundle with the hand scrubber and polishing pads for $199.

I think I’m going for the dispensing model, if only because it can be used with hex or Ryobi triangular attachments. Although, the telescoping USB Lithium model is probably going to be better for hex attachments if that’s needed in the future.

Ryobi 18V Cordless Dual Temperature Hot Glue Gun Kit – $70

Ryobi 18V Cordless 6-Gallon Wet/Dry Vacuum Kit – $159

Ryobi USB Lithium Cordless Glue Pen Kit – $35

As usual, I think the full sales page is worth a quick glance. Home Depot also has PRO tool deals of the week that are still going on for a couple more days.

Near the bottom of the page they have made a listing mistake. They have a thumbnail photo of a right angle ratchet (PRC01 I think), but the listing description and other photos are for a different product: The 4 1/2″ Circ Saw (PCL400) with 2Ah batter, charger, and a freebie marker all for $49.

That’s a pretty good deal and I went ahead and picked it up on prospect as I had been eyeing that 4 1/2″ saw for quick and dirty sheet good and 2x processing. We’ll see what actually arrives in the mail!

Ah! I was looking for the circular saw kit but didn’t see it. They had an image mixup when I posted about it a month ago, and it looks like it was never fixed.

This deal bundle does look to give you the circular saw kit and bonus marker.

Nice find! I ordered one as well…I mean w/tax its $52 but for a similar use to cut up pallets and scrap, makes a great gift for someone I know that gets scraps to burn in a barn wood stove. Wouldn’t have caught that with the ratchet driver image.

Been watching for the soap dispensing scrubber to have a sale for a while. This is the only one I’ve seen. I had to go for it as well.

119 isn’t bad for the non dispensing, but when you factor in the $25 for the 11″ attachment included with the soap dispensing it almost nets out. And the non dispensing ones go on sale more often.

For $97, a drill, circular saw, level, hammer and all the other included stuff is something that a person getting their first apartment could use, including what you need to put IKEA stuff together.
I like the price and what you get.

Are their batteries still as bad as they used to be?

I have 18/40V Ryobi batteries and compared to anything else like Bosch or DeWalt they have a very high failure rate.

I still have some of the gray Lithium+ batteries kicking around from 10 years or so ago when I was regularly using a handful of Ryobi tools for work, but I’ve also had some of the basic black batteries crap out much sooner – these were mostly freebies that came with household/lifestyle products that didn’t see nearly as harsh of use conditions.

There’s a big jump in performance with the premium batteries too – Ryobi has since debuted a third line of even higher-end batteries, but since these days I’m just using them for vacuums and tire inflators and the like I’ve never justified the cost to test them out.

I haven’t had trouble with the 18v batteries with the exception of the 1.5 ah P107 (I think) batteries, I had a couple of those and they all died. I think I remember reading somewhere those were defective for a couple years, but the ones I had would have been bought in the late 2010s.

I haven’t ever had any of the batteries literally die. I’m using 4ah that are 10 years old. Do they require more frequent charging? Yes.

The 40v batteries seem to like to catch fire while sitting on a shelf, it happened to a friend of mine and I’ve seen a bunch of more fires on reddit.

The 18’s on the other hand are stable as rocks. I have some first-gen units from 2013 still in service.

I’ve never had an 18v Ryobi battery die on me, even after almost 10 years of use. And I have a lot of them both new and old

I find the batteries nearly useless unless you’re at a bench with the charger there to swap out constantly.

So I bought an adapter from Surebonder for my DeWalt batteries, and that works great. They have a deal with Ryobi and are an actual company so I’m less worried about a shoddy ebay adapter. I still wouldn’t use it for something thirsty like a grinder, but for my Ryobi nailers and a few other tools they work great.

Thanks for the Surebonder tip! I’ve been wanting some Milwaukee adapters but was likewise wary of sketchy no-name stuff. These look legit, and they’ll be a lot nicer to carry a couple in my jobsite stack than a handful of Ryobi batteries and charger that only power a couple of lights and finish nailers…

I’ve been using Ryobi 18v and 40v batteries for decades. I have about 7-8 18v batteries and 4 40v batteries of various sizes/amps. Never had one go bad, catch fire, smoke, etc. I dropped one 18v battery from a six foot ladder and broke the casing. I kept using it for a while but then tossed it because it became a pain to detach from tools.

But, yeah, never had a problem ever with the batteries. I’m just a DIYer, so they got regular but not excessive use. Always kept in the garage, most kept on a charger continuously.

I have that little cordless screwdriver for installing ceiling lights and fans, it’s perfect for driving machine screws one-handed.

Highly recommend the Ryobi 18v little square tire inflater for 20 bucks. It has digital gauge with setable pressure. You can just connect set the pressure and come back when it done. A word better than the old stick one with manual gauge.

Agree on the inflator, great thing to have around.

Only issue is that as it heats up the pressure sensor reading changes. So if adding more than a pound or two you may have to do two rounds to get pressures even, eventually it will stabilize. This is not just a Ryobi thing, from pit lane chats this seems to be common issue.

For anything requiring accurate pressure easiest thing is to set the pressure 2-3 psi over, then go around with manual gauge with bleed.

Have you seen the expand-It attachments on sale anywhere? I’ve been looking for the sweeper attachment, but it always seems to be full retail price everywhere.

LOL! So I got the Saw that had the ratchet picture. And the marker … it was in its own box! I mean a silly, single Ryobi Marker…in a 12x10x5 box. The Circular Saw Kit was in its own packaging with a shipping label. But its definitely not the pictured ratchet.

If someone needs to stock up on Ryobi batteries, this is an incredible deal, at around $7 per Ah!
