In Iron Man 2, there is a scene where Tony Stark wields a rather large pipe wrench to turn a valve. If you’ve watched the movie, did you catch the tool’s brand? It was a Ridgid branded aluminum pipe wrench.

Ridgid’s oscillating edge belt and spindle sander (EB4424) is an example of a somewhat gimmicky design that is done right. This 2-in-1 sander can be used to sand both straight edges and curves, and features a 4″ x 24″ belt and set of five sanding drums.
Ridgid SuperClamp Portable Clamping Work Station
Ridgid just came out with the SuperClamp, robust mobile clamping workstation. The Superclamp has a solid array of user-friendly features, and bears an extremely close resemblance to Triton’s venerable Superjaws workbench. With a jaw capacity of 37-1/2″, and a foot operated clamp capable of exerting 2,000 pounds of force, the SuperClamp will be definitely be a strong competitor to Rockwell’s Jawhorse.
Bosch & Ridgid Slim Grip Small Angle Grinders
I don’t know about you, but except for a chain saw, an angle grinder is about the last thing I want to be more compact and slim. It looks as though I’m in the minority here as both Bosch and Ridgid offer small slim grip angle grinders. Maybe they’re on to something after all.
